Letters From Our Residents
Hi! My name is (deleted). I’m Mexican from Tamaulipas. I have 3 children who are my life and my reason to live. For me, Casa de Paz has a very large value-like having angels here on earth. The first time I met Director Julia Figueroa and my group members They filled me with love and confidence, like feeling part of my family. From time to time one has setbacks in life that don’t matter to anybody else. I remember with much love the hug that Julia Figueroa and Mariana Olivo gave me. They were the first people I met at Casa de Paz.
That’s how I arrived at this blessed place. They gave me values and dreams, the strength to succeed at everything. One of those I propose to myself is to get a home where I am living with my children.
Thank you from my heart and I will never tire to tell you to thank you for making this place of help and support.
May God bless you. Attentively, (deleted)
What Impact Has Casa de Paz Had On Your Life?
I never thought it would be like this. I imagined it to be different until it was my turn to live here. It’s incredible – I have no words to express how secure I feel and how happy I am with sharing with each of the people. I never thought it would be like home. It’s tranquility and such love to me and my children. (This) was a big change for all of us but for the good in our lives. For me and my children, it’s the best that has happened to us in the middle of so many problems. I know it’s not easy but not impossible. Here in Casa de Paz, it’s beautiful. They never stop helping the people who really need help. It’s incredible. I appreciate and respect them very much.

What Impact Has Casa de Paz Had On Your Life?
Since the first instant when I arrived, I knew it would be a place where I going to find peace of mind for a while until I could recuperate again in a new way the stability that I had. I’m a woman who throughout the years of my life the punches the teachings have taught me that 99.9% of the problems that a human being has don’t matter. At the of the tunnel, or your difficulties, obstacles, trip-ups, I have to smile and always be positive because your circumstances will not be forever. And at all times we should be thankful to God for taking care of us and safeguarding us in place in His heart.
