Casa de Paz welcomes Paulina Cruz as our new Family Support Coordinator. Paulina supports residents by partnering with each woman to create an individualized plan with goals for her future free of violence. Residents turn to Pauline for the support of Casa de Paz’ culturally informed and trauma informed mission. Paulina has a background in healthcare and social services. Prior to her position as Family Support Coordinator at Casa de Paz she worked at the Northern Kentucky Health Department. In that role, she helped the community get connected to essential resources, programs, and women’s health services while breaking language and cultural barriers. Previously she was at Versiti Blood Center of Ohio, where she was involved in collecting life-saving blood donations, training new hires, and educating the Hispanic community about the importance of blood donation. She has also worked as an EMT specializing in patients going through mental health crises.
